About Our Concrete Work in Cerritos

We are a concrete company that looks before it recommends. Before we talk about a new driveway, patio or walkway, we walk the site with you, check the soil, slope and drainage, and tell you plainly what we found and what it means for your home.

Why we start every job with a look, not a pitch

Most of the problems people call us about began long before the cracks showed up. Water pooled against a foundation because the old slab sloped the wrong way. A driveway sank at the edge because the base was never compacted. Roots from a nearby tree lifted a walkway. If we skipped straight to a price, we would be guessing about all of that.

So our visits start slowly. We measure the area, note where water runs when it rains, look at how the existing concrete has moved, and check access for forms, a pump or wheelbarrows. Then we sit down with you and explain what we saw in everyday language, including the things that do not need doing.

From there we write up the plan: thickness, reinforcement, base preparation, finish and joint layout, with each part listed so you can see where the cost comes from. If a smaller project solves the real problem, we say so. You decide what happens next, and nothing gets poured until you are comfortable with it.

How we work on your property

  1. 01

    Findings you can see

We take photos and point to what we are talking about: a low spot, a heaved panel, a downspout dumping onto the slab. You should never have to take our word for something you cannot see.

  2. 02

The base gets as much care as the surface

Clay-heavy soil, common across Southern California, swells when wet and shrinks when dry. We dig out, compact and grade the base before forming, because a nice finish on a poor base will not hold up.

  3. 03

    An estimate you can read

Our estimates break out demolition, haul-off, base, reinforcement, concrete and finish. If something unexpected turns up once the old slab comes out, we stop, show you, and talk it through before going further.

  4. 04

Respect for your home during the work

We protect lawns, walls and plants near the pour, keep walkways clear, and clean up at the end of each day. Before we leave, we go over curing time and when it is safe to walk or drive on the new concrete.

Where we pour

We build driveways, patios, pool decks, steps, side yards and more for homeowners in Cerritos and nearby towns, including Artesia, Norwalk, Buena Park, Lakewood, Bellflower, La Mirada, Cypress, La Palma, Santa Fe Springs and South Whittier. Plenty of homes around here still have their original flatwork, and the same careful first visit tells you whether yours is ready to be replaced. The Service Areas page lists every town we cover.
